Half year ago, went to Adelaide for the cadet pilot training !
Back to HK yesterday!

Gained a lot throughout the half year !! Not only my technical knowledge but lots of personal growth ! Nothing can actually compared with it ! I have no regret spending the time there !Although the training didn't come the way I expected and the intensive training wasn't easy at all, I treasured every minutes striving for the best with everyone in DA13 !

Leaving may sound a tough decision , It was what I used to think as well . Yes, its a tough decision to make, but its also a good move for myself, I reckon. The pilot training sharpen my personality a lot and make me more ready to face any challenges ahead ....

Will probably still fly the way I enjoy it .... but may not fly commercially .....anyway..its yet to make any solid plan ..

Everyone in DA13 , I know it may come as a shock to you all as well , esp. my housemate and neighbour,but, distance will just brings us closer, isn't it ? Have fun and all the best from me !

Flying

Having been flying for a while, many ups and downs
and I start to love it bit by bit and i start to appreciate the beauty of flying more and more
Today! I tell myself ! I have to be a good pilot ! I will treat my flying more seriously and professionally !

My first Love

Having been in Australia to about 3 months ...

No matter where I go , I still compared it with every bits and pieces of Denmark , Copenhagen ...

THen , I discover how much I love this tiny little city ...

I did regret somehow of not spending enough time to appreciate every little bit of it ..

But it may be the regretness that make it even more beautiful ...

I will defintely go back there ...

For its bread..

For its people ..

For its air...

For its grass...

For the bicycle ..

For all the memories...

For the beauty ....

For everything .. deep down in my heart ...

Dragonair cadet pilot programme selection 3- second stage interview

Finally have Internet connection for this entry.

The second stage interview of dragonair cadet pilot programme consisted of a number of sections.
1) ICAO English Test, which test your general English level, not aviation-related at all , as far as I remembered. You can practise by watching more BBC programme from wherever sources, try to find out more information about the areas they are assessing, e.g. structure, grammar and etc.

2) Medical Check, nothing to worry about. Once again, no matter how many degree of short-sighted you are, it is NOT a problem. Just use a clear and correct lens for the eye test ! ( good to be a new one to make sure it does correct your eye-sight to 20/20 or 22/22 I forgot ...)  you will be fine. But of course, lazy eye, color blindness is not acceptable and no lasik surgery ..

3) Technical Interview. Study as much as you can, Both single engine aircraft and jet , particular airbus fleet that KA is having.

4) Personality Test, no worries.

5) Social Lunch, just social and talk and enjoy a nice lunch.

6) Group Exercise, not-aviation related in my case, just simple group tasks to test you teamwork and whether you are comfortably working with others in a group, not really that stressful and in my case, 5 out of 6 in my group pass through this stage to the flight grading.

Good Luck and add oil guys and girls! Its a test of your preparation and your passion! Do as many research as you can and tell them you are the one !

Dragonair Cadet Pilot Selection 2 ( first interview)

Well , I finally get the largest sponsorship/ scholarship I have ever had in my life !! Thanks dragonair ! You are just too great to make our dream come true .. I am going to work very hard in the sky for the coming year to realize my dream ...and will come back as a professional pilot !

Just tidy up my room and discovered a lot of papers, notes and stuffs related to aviation / cadet pilot/ ICAO english and etc .. They mark  all the efforts i made this half year !  Sucess belongs to those who fight till the end ! Good Luck dreamers !

由於很多人都對 selection process 有很大的 Conern , 我會盡力的解答 ...and I will start with the first interview here ...

First Interview

Well ...It is solely a HR interview ...no technical stuffs.. just HR personnel , no pilot sitting the interview.Just prepare your best !

Study all typically HR questions and study your CV very well ...
they probably will pick some Qs related to ur background ..etc..
Most importantly , be very sure why you want to be a pilot !!

I think they want confident, passonated individual to operate their planes.
To me,this interview is for them to confirm u have the right personality  on board. They can tell if u are making up stories .. so be honest ... be confident and leave them a good impression .. thats bascially wt it is about.

Met a lot of interesting people in this trips .. never thought of having acompany before ! This trip will not be that great without them ! I am really blessed ...

Day 1 : 天氣不似預期 , 但信心和感覺也回來了....

Day 2 : not enough sleep, feeling dizzy after 50mins ... yet .. performance was good , i can tell improvement myself

Day 3: Vomit
Day 4: Stepping out of the bottom neck , relaxed and getting better
Day 5: Really enjoy and confirm than I love it so so much !!

是次旅遊調整了心情 ..為月底的FG作了很好的準備...

12月17日 清境

看着木星，半年後再身處台灣…是次是去了南投的清境..

這是海拔很高的地方，看的是一片雲海..很美的 “天星” ，有置身於希臘小島一樣的美…

開始工作了，難得…靜靜吸一口空氣 …

急忙的又選了台灣這片土地…是命運的推使?? 是又一個的偶然?? 我不知道 …

只知道每 一次都無悔….每一次都獲得很多很多…..

每一次旅行都讓我想起從前，深深的印在心田的種種回憶 ..讓我反省從前是多麼的不成熟…二年前的今天是 Denmark first term final exam 的前一個晚上...我想起了丹麥的冬天...那一年的聖誕節...回憶很實在....要放下的只是執着....當有一天我懂得愛...也許我能夠 ..我也期盼着那一天...

民宿以”星星”為主題，我們的 “火星” 睡房..關上燈，漫天星星... 流星.. 還有火星...伴我進入夢鄉.... 民宿爸爸說木星不是星星...是恆星..因為它是反射太陽的光，自己不會發光... 星星卻是自己閃閃發亮，...照耀天際...也正正是我喜歡它的原因...還有的就是它見證着一段又一段歷史..不對...它本身已經是歷史的一部份...看着人在時代巨輪中的逆轉...

 

Little Swiss 小瑞士花園..親身感受比遠看很不同 ....樂在其中...聖誕氣氛有像 Tivoli 的 christmas ... 雲海也很像 Italy 的天空之城...但這次心境開朗了很多...

民宿...一切的經歷跟上一次很不同，不管多留戀上一次的美好，今後一切也有其獨特之處....

最近

昨天看到一片落葉, 很開心, 香港還有冬天...
最近, 在回家的路上, 抬頭一看, 還有那冬季星空中不可劃缺的獵戶座 ..照亮天際的木星.. 和那常伴左右的天狼星...
我...就是無論如何..也會被那片片的星空迷住...
因為它對我來說有很深很深的義意...

又一次難忘的旅程...
一點一滴很想記下來...
